“You can’t change the system unless you know it well. You can’t play chess well unless you know all the moves”. As a police officer and professional lecturer at the Royal Police Cadet Academy (RPCA), I aim for seeking and enhancing further knowledge in the field of Criminology and Criminal Justice, as new patterns of crimes and national threats drastically transform in 21st century. My research interests are focusing upon human security, transnational crimes, and border management in the ASEAN, especially in Mekong subregion. Therefore, Chulalongkorn University is my first priority for continuing PhD programme which has a notable achievement and many experts related to this field. Furthermore, comprehensive knowledge and dynamic perspectives from this course will surely enhance transformative and creative ideas regarding police service, structural problems in society, organisational management and country development of criminal justice process. I cordially appreciate for all dedicated supports from professors and faculty members. I also believe this opportunity at Chulalongkorn University would provide crucial knowledge and advanced research tools for fulfilling my academic journey and fortifying interdisciplinary approach which are perfectly applicable to my future lectures and researches.
